The Primary Teachers Training Institute (PTI) has been established to provide training to primary school teachers to enhance their professional skills and contribute to the teaching-learning process. The long-term residential training course conducted at PTI is conducted to enhance the professional skills of untrained government and private teachers. Moreover, PTI conducts short-term training activities for primary education teachers, officers and employees at different times.

Location: PTI is located on the connecting highway between Chapainawabganj Sadar and Shibganj upazilas of Chapainawabganj district. PTI is located about 2.5 km from the Deputy Commissioner's Office. PTI's campus is surrounded by paved and high walls.

Catchment Area: The catchment of DPED course under PTI is Sadar, Nachol and Gomsatmapur upazilas of Chapainawabganj district and Godagari and Tanore upazilas of Rajshahi district.

Library: There is a library in the administrative and academic building of PTI. The library has about 4,000 books of various types. Moreover, the book reading program of Biswa Sahitya Kendra is running in PTI. Officially, each DPED student is given 11 books.

Computer Lab: There is a computer lab in the administrative and academic building of PTI. The lab has 30 desktop computers. In this lab, training on ICT is conducted for primary school teachers. In addition, classes on ICT were held for DPED students.

ICT: This PTI has 05 laptops and 05 multimedia. DPED classes are conducted in multimedia presentations.

Internet facilities: PTI has academic facilities in the academic and administrative buildings of BTCL and Info Government. There are also private broadband lines locally. In addition, PTI has video conferencing system and it is on.

CCTV Cameras: There are 14 CCTV cameras in this PTI. Through this various issues are monitored.

Digital Attendance Machine: There are 2 digital attendance machines in this PTI. Through this the attendance of officers-employees and DPED students is taken.

Water system: Earlier PTI had its own water system. But the deep tube wells and tubewells have been closed due to the presence of arsenic in the water. At present the water supplied by the municipality is the source of water of PTI.

Flower Garden: There is a flower garden next to the main gate of PTI. The garden has seasonal flowering plants as well as year-round flowering plants.

Fruit orchards: There are several varieties of mango trees in PTI premises. There are also other fruits like jackfruit, litchi, olive, lemon, mango, guava, chalta, quince, bell, lotcon, white, tamarind, amalki, jamrul etc.

Forest Garden: There are several forest trees in PTI premises.

Medicinal Garden: There are several medicinal plants in this PTI premises.

Vehicles: There is a microbus in this PTI.

Mural: This PTI has a mural of mango and a mural of Bangladesh.

Shahid Minar: There is a beautiful Shahid Minar in this PTI.
